Musician Bio

Victor Lowrie is an engaging young guitarist, violist, violinist and composer in New York City. Victor has performed as a soloist and chamber musician with groups including Wet Ink, Wordless Music Orchestra, Signal and Argento Chamber Ensemble. In June 2009, Victor was invited to give performances and a masterclass (�en Espa�ol!) at the EAFIT University in Medell�n, Colombia.

Victor has recorded for Quiet Design Records, Kill Rock Stars and numerous self-released projects. He can be heard on viola, violin and voice on Coro Hispano de San Franciscoﾒs Ramillete (2003). Victor's compositions include an award-winning trio a landscape (viola, bassoon, piano), Runaway (viola & electronics) and an upcoming string quartet to be premiered in spring 2010.

Victor grew up on the idyllic central coast of California and received his Masterﾒs Degree in Contemporary Performance from the Manhattan School of Music and his Bachelorﾒs of Music from San Francisco State University.
