FAQ Responses

  1. Printing: What if I can’t print my guitar TAB? If you are having any trouble printing, just let us know! Email us and we’ll solve the problem and get you a new print copy ASAP: Info@UnitedWeTab.com.
  2. Viewing Tabs: What if I don’t see the TAB on the screen? If you purchased a guitar TAB and don’t see it on the screen, its likely because you need to download Scorch, a free application that allows you to view legal guitar TABs online. We highly recommend you use Firefox, but Scorch works with many browsers (basically everything but Chrome right now). You can download Scorch for free for either a PC or Mac here (super important: remember to close all browser windows after installing Scorch – when you reopen your browser Scorch will be installed): Download Scorch.
  3. Downloading Scorch: What should I do if I’m having trouble downloading the Scorch software? If you run into any issues downloading Scorch, it’s usually because of a “browser window” issue. Scorch can be a little touchy sometimes if other browser windows are open during installation. So, here’s exactly what to do (by the way we highly recommend using Firefox):
    1. Follow all of the instructions on our Scorch Download page. (very important, make sure you follow all of them)
    2. If you are still having Scorch issues, restart your computer, and try to install one more time.
    3. If all else fails, please email us at Info@UnitedWeTab.com and we'll help you get it running ASAP.
  4. Account Access: What do I do if I'm having trouble accessing my United We Tab user account? If you are having trouble accessing your account, there’s either one of two things going on:
    1. Make sure you are using the right email address;
    2. Make sure your browser settings aren’t too restrictive. Sometimes (especially with computers in an office) the browser settings disable javascript. In this event, you will not be able to log into your United We Tab account. You will have to use a computer with javascript enabled in order to do so.
  5. Saving Files: Why can’t I save the guitar TABs to my own computer? Long story short: based on certain agreements with music publishers, you can’t save files to your hard drive right now. This will hopefully change in the future. However, you can view your guitar TABS online 24 hours a day. Just head over to your United We Tab Library to view all your previously purchased guitar TABs.
  6. Contacting United We Tab: How do I get in touch with United We Tab? Just shoot us an email, and we’ll help you ASAP: Info@UnitedWeTab.com.
  7. My browser (Safari) is 64-bit. What does that mean? Our Scorch plugin can only run in 32-bit browsers, and Safari is running in 64-bit mode. You can either choose to run Safari in 32-bit mode, or you can use Firefox.

    Directions to run Safari in 32-bit mode:

    1. Open your Applications folder in your Finder;
    2. Locate Safari in your list of Applications;
    3. Right Click (cntrl-click) on Safari, and select 'Get Info';
    4. Click 'Open in 32-bit mode' under the 'General' tab;
    5. Quit Safari, and then start it again.
